Our final carnival activity!! We made MAPLE BUTTER!!! Yum. Did you know 80% of the world’s maple syrup comes from QUEBEC!?
Here’s what you’ll need to make your butter as awesome as ours!
- Whipping Cream
- Maple syrup
- Big super strong muscles for shaking.
a) Put whipping cream in a mason jar.
b) Add as much maple syrup as you like (we used about 3 tablespoons.)
c) Shake like cray-zed!!!!
d) After about 25 minutes of shaking, pour off any of the extra junk (watery liquid)
e) Shake more.
f) Pour off any leftover watery liquid (encore)
g) PIG OUT!!!!!!
h) Then, in the springtime, visit the Chamber’s pancake house in Villa Nova. Best pancakes and syrup ever!! (I have no affiliation other than I think it’s awesome there!)
